Public consultation opens for proposal to relocate Beverley Police Station

I am opening up a Public consultation for a proposal to relocate Beverley Police Station Police from New Walk to what will be a dedicated office in County Hall. I am contacting you directly as a resident of the Beverley Policing team area.

One of my key aims as Police and Crime Commissioner is to ensure visible neighbourhood policing accessible to all communities. As part of this, I am proposing to relocate Beverley Police Station from its current site on New Walk to County Hall in the centre of Beverley. I want to create somewhere that is more visible and accessible for local people to visit. The relocation will assist partnership working with the local council and NHS colleagues that have recently taken premises on site.

As part of the relocation, partnership working is taking place with local MPs and Councillors, as well as colleagues from Humberside Police. This survey takes less than 5 minutes to complete.

I want to hear about what’s important to you, whether that be creating an easily accessible building, how you can get there by public transport, whether you want space to speak in private to the police, or if 24/7 access is your priority for example.
